Who am I? Well, I’m Hew Wilson and I have been a professional artist for over 30 years. You could blame my passion for art on the millions of summer art & craft classes that I attended in the early 70's. Seriously. Art has been my life. Forever.

Yep! Creative me in the 70's!

As a result, my artwork has found its way across the world in private collections, exhibits and galleries, besides teaching thousands of women and children how to unlock their artistic abilities and create masterpieces at workshops, schools and classes.

On my artist website, hewwilsonart.com, it will tell you that, "I have a unique signature method that involves simplifying the figurative structures then combining an original process of layering using various painting techniques as finger painting, spray painting and traditional brushwork. The final step is adding words in partnership with the piece to achieve an emotional connection and instill a conversation of thoughts for the audience."

Basically, in simpler words, I love to paint using layers and create cool stuff.

In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and my adult "kids", eating big bowls of popcorn, riding my bike and listening to my favorite albums on my record player.

So why, Art Paint and Create? Besides being creative, I have a love of paying it forward. I want to give back to the women of the world who want to be creative, not have it cost a fortune, make it easy so they can have instant success, and be totally portable so it does not require a studio or a lot of space. Love your creative life!Something that you can do with a spare 30 minutes or during your kids nap time or when you travel. 

Something that can be built into a business, a side hustle or a full time gig that has the potential to provide a nice income for you if you want....or just money for your weekly chocolate stash!

And definitely something that can be original with your own style and not cookie cutter art. After all, we are all creative and talented. Sometimes you just need a little guidance to get going.
